Copy or move files and folders · Select the items you want to copy or move, tap or click the Home tab, and tap or click Copy to copy them or Cut to move them.

You can copy the contents of a folder /source to another existing folder /dest with the command: cp -a /source/. /dest/.

For the copying we can use the shutil module which propose some high-level file methods. Assuming your setup is : files = [/path/to/first/file ...

You can do this easily using Robocopy. Open a Command Prompt window; Run the following command: robocopy /e f:-files-fx-water-apx ...

You can move a file or folder from one folder to another by dragging it from its current location and dropping it into the destination folder.

Alternatively, you can use the keyboard shortcut. To copy the item: click Ctrl+C. Navigate to the folder where you want to move or copy the item to, and then click Ctrl+V.
